the group dance was by wade robson
i love him. i don't think he's doing the couples' choreography this year, which sucks
then they do the calling out of three couples, showing last night, and then the results
Bottom 3 Couples- Kourtni & Matt, Rayven & Jamie, Jessica & Will
they do their solos
performances by the Pussycat Dolls, and some Popper dancer guy
then the judges come back with their decisions.
i kind of like how they do that, where the judges have a say, because otherwise some really good people could be kicked off, but the judges base it on talent
in the end, rayven and jamie are eliminated (i don't like that it was a whole couple, but whatever) there's no new couple swaps this week. i like those though, i hope there's lots-o-drama!

top 20
yay a new season has begun! (recently... i'm late)
starting:::::
Rayven and Jamie: hip hop: Napoleon and Tabitha
what's with shane sparks leaving and N&T coming?
i liked it, it wasn't great in the beginning though. jamie got pants in the middle we saw stuff that... um... yeah. they were okay
Susie and Marquis: smooth waltz: Hunter Johnson
i didn't like that susie was there; i didn't think her audition was good, but their waltz, i thought, was amazing. just great. and they messed up a lift, but it didn't matter, they were great. great lines too, for a salsa dancer
Kourtni Lind and Matt: Jazz: Mandy Moore
i really like mandy moore ((not the singer/actor)) K&M are both contemporary dancers. the dance was weird, they were like fighting over a giant diamond or something... then it became just sparkles in the end. i don't like when dancers throw glitter, it freaks me out.
Chelsea Trail and Thayne: cha cha: tony meredith and melanie
thayne smiles way too big for my liking. kind of like benji, but i'm in love with benji and thayne just freaks me out. i usually don't watch the dances like the tango, cha cha, stuff like that. so i saw it, but not really, i guess they were good.
Chelsea Hightower and Mark: contemporary: Mia Michaels
i love mia. mark is a contemporary dancer, so mia had high hopes, but she said she didn't think he was very good at first. i LOVED THIS PIECE. like... it was creepy. she said tim burton's wedding, i can see that because it was scary. now i want to watch it again. like, i loved it.
Kherington and Twich ((Twitchington)): broadway: tice DiOrio
they were crazy too. so much running and craziness, i loved it
Comfort and Chris: jive: tony meredith and melanie
i don't like comfort. i don't i don't! i didn't really watch them, but i know that as a hip hop/krump dancer, comfort was like really girly. she was like "i'm just wearing bra, panties, and beads!" or something like that... i don't like her, but you know she's gonna be there forever
Katee and Joshua: hip hop: Napoleon and Tabitha
i love them. joshua is my favorite guy dancer this season, for realz. they danced to No Air (jordin sparks). they were like crazy. i wanna watch this again too. at the end they did this thing with his jacket, and she ended up wearing it inside out. me and Sister tried it, we got it! lol. i love them.
Jessica and Will: tango: Hunter Johnson (isn't there a Hunter Johnson our grade at school?)
i don't watch the tangos, plus i don't like them. so no.
Courtney Galiano and Gev: disco: Doriana Sanchez
i didn't like the disco either. i like courney, not so much gev. i keep remembering neil and sarahs's disco, wayyy better, so i d din't like C&G.
results will be a different post, i've decided.

shear genius
i'm not going to be blogging shear genius, okay?
i've watched the first one
i don't really get the point of it.
i like it though. i remember watching the first season a long time ago. prolly the marathon before the finale, now that i think of it. that black guy won. it was probably the first time i watched Bravo, so there...
so yeah, watch if you want, Parker's my favorite right now. i pick favorites way too early, usually based on hair fierceness and gayness.
lol.

finale pt. 1 and 2
the chefs are in puerto rico
and lisa cut her hair
they had to make a meal, i think probably with puerto rican influences, but maybe not
i don't remember! but antonia was out
now it's just richard, stephanie, and lisa
how is lisa still there? i still don't get that part...
they had to make a huge meal
and they got help. or maybe that was before... crap i'm mixing up the two finale shows. whatever.
oh yeah, they got whole pigs. ewwwwwww!
and they got help from old contestants. crap, i think antonia was there for the pig.
but then she was out.
and richard "choked" on the last challenge, didn't do so hot
i seriously thought for a second that lisa could win. i would have killed myself
i wanted richard to win so bad
but it was stephanie
which is still good
the top two in the beginning were rich and steph, so that's good
so yeah, congrats stephanie!

FINALE
lol, i'm a bit late, but everyone knows what happened
simon said that archie totally creamed cook on the first night, then came back and said that it wasn't like that at all
i think he found out the results, didn't want to sound like a tard, and took it back. to late, you did sound like a tard simon.
the whole results show i was like "omg, what if cook does win, and beats little archie, the favorite since day one?"
AND IT HAPPENED
and i knew that cook could do it, knew it knew it knew it. if you'll recall my prediction about the dark horse. i think top 24. yeah, i was right.
beat that!
sorry archie, but you suck!
YEAH!!!

SKINNY

this book is about a recovering anorexic and her younger sister
though i use the word 'recovering' loosely, because she's not getting better
it's kind of about the mindset, and going crazy, and her relationship, or lack there of, with her father...
manno, i sound smart!
giselle (anorexic med student) and holly (track star younger sister) each tell the story, alternating chapters.
the whole book i was like, "jeez, just get better already, stop making yourself sick!" but no one ever listens to me, do they?
the ending was sad, but somehow not, in a way.
so Skinny is a good book, but it seemed to drag on just a bit at the end for me. maybe it's just me... anyway, it's good
CROSS MY HEART AND HOPE TO SPY

the sequel to I'D TELL YOU I LOVE YOU, BUT THEN I'D HAVE TO KILL YOU
long title...
so i love these books.
about the spy school for girls
but after Cammie's insident with Josh in the first book, rules are changing
and boys come to the Acadamy.
i like the dry humor in this, but it's not too much. and it's realistic, if there really was a school for spys, that is.
some of it's just like, holy crap, how are they that smart. because they're all like geniuses. it's creepy. so no one really knows who's the bad guys until the end, the rest of the time the girls are blaming the guys. and you hear more about cammie's father, and Mr. Solomon, and... everyone else
so read it! but read the first one first, or you won't get it
THE CITY OF EMBER

so everyone in history has read this and i was like, nooooo, but then i did because my sister told me to. it wasn't as bad as i expected.
so... idk if y'all have read it
this crappy town is living with like darkness, and the lightbulbs are dieing. because they've been down there wayy too long. and so Doon and... crap... wait... Lina have to save it
and i just found a movie trailer! it comes out this october. coool...
so yeah, and there's troubles and liers and other such bad things.
i don't really know what to say
except that the mayor is a jerk and he's dumb.
other than that...
no. it was good, so read it if you haven't, but everyone on the face of the earth has, so whatever.

SO HARD TO SAY

there's lots of spanish in this book. good review for me. plus there's a glossary in the back. but i knew some things.
all of the people are mexican, except for frederick when he moves there. from 'sconsin! yeah! apparently he's reallly white... lol
and xio (C.O.) is madly in love with him.
then he kind of realizes he's gay.
so he has this girlfriend that he doesn't really like, and he's got some stuff to figure out.
kids in this book are mean. espessially to Iggy (loves the name) who's also gay.
so yeah, it's a good book. maybe not a favorite... but i liked it
i think i read it tooo fast though. ((i.e. one afternoon)) when i read books too fast, then it's like a void in me, and all i think is about that book and it's kind of scary. so i try not to do that. but it happens.
and i've gone to the library. got 4 books. plus put 3 on hold and 1's already in. but since i've finished one, i still have 4.
i love reading.
and i don't want to read Sphere, but i might... just for you "M"...

steaks and frozen scallops
[edit] Episode 12: High Steaks
Quickfire Challenge: At a meat packing warehouse, each chef is given twenty minutes to butcher and clean seven "tomahawk chops" from an aged side of beef. Then, at the Top Chef kitchen, they are given an additional thirty minutes to prepare two of the chops to the guest judge's preference- medium-rare. i think the whole butchering of the meat was GROSSSSSS
The Best: Antonia, Lisa, Spike
The Worst: Richard and Stephanie
WINNER: Spike WHAT!?!
Elimination Challenge: Each chef had to create an appetizer and an entree and work the line at Rick Tramonto's Steak & Seafood restaurant. The Quickfire winner was able to select two proteins to use for his or her dishes, disallowing the other chefs to use those proteins.
WINNER: Stephanie (Sweetbreads with golden raisins, fennel and pine nuts; Beef tenderloin with wild mushrooms and apple sauce)
ELIMINATED: Spike (Seared scallops with hearts of palm and oyster mushrooms; Tomahawk chop, sweet potato puree, Brussels sprouts, and cipollinis) hahahaha. he should have realized that frozen scallops are gross. i might eat them, but a top chef shouldn't. plus, then he scolded the guest judge for having them in his kitchen, yeah, but... you used them.

finally, restaurants
Episode 11: Restaurant Wars
Quickfire Challenge: Taking turns, each chef would spend the same amount of time manning the egg station during the busy breakfast hours at Lou Mitchell's. The chef's performance would be judged by both Tom Colicchio and the restaurant's owner, based on who she'd be most likely to hire.
The Best: Antonia and Dale
The Worst: No worst chefs were named.
WINNER: Antonia
Elimination Challenge: For the standard "Restaurant Wars" challenge, the chefs had to open up a restaurant in teams of three for a dinner service, consisting of three courses with two selections for each for approximately 35 guests the next day. The winner would be judged based on both the normal judges and comment cards filled out by the patrons. Each team had $1,500 to spend on food, and $5,000 from Pier 1 Imports for decor. The winner of the Quickfire would be able to select his or her teammates for the challenge. One chef from each team was to assist in front of the house duties along with additional waitstaff. Midway through the challenge, each team's executive chef was allowed to select one additional assisting chef from the last four that were eliminated from the show; Antonia chose Nikki and Dale chose Jennifer.
"Warehouse Kitchen": Antonia, Richard, Stephanie; Nikki those 3 are probably the best
1st Course: Beet salad with goat cheese and Ras el Hanout Spices, Linguine and clams with sausage and horseradish crème fraîche
2nd Course: Trout with cauliflower, Lamb loin and braised lamb shank
3rd Course: Gorgonzola cheesecake with sweet potato puree and concord grape sauce, Banana “scallops” with banana guacamole and chocolate ice cream richard does banana scallops every episode. what's up?
"Mai Buddha": Dale, Lisa, Spike; Jennifer bad team mates, man. except jen, i liked her

2nd Course: Braised short ribs with pickled red cabbage and apple basil salad, Butterscotch miso scallops, spicy eggplant and pickled long beans
3rd Course: Halo-halo with cantaloupe, coconut, kiwi, avocado and candied nuts, Mango sticky rice with toasted coconut
WINNER: Stephanie of "Warehouse Kitchen"
ELIMINATED: Dale of "Mai Buddha" mwaaaa haaaa haaa! i hated dale

um... episode 10
Episode 10: Serve and Protect
Quickfire Challenge: The chefs are given 45 minutes to create a modern take on a salad using fresh produce and items from the Top Chef pantry.
The Best: Antonia, Dale, Spike
The Worst: Lisa, Richard, Stephanie
WINNER: Spike ("Sensual Beef Salad" with pineapple, radish, cucumber and skirt steak)
Elimination Challenge: Chefs are challenged to create a healthy, delicious, and filling box lunch meal for the members of the Chicago police academy. The meal must contain at least one ingredient from each of the the following categories: whole grain, lean protein, fruit and vegetable. Any final preparation step (such as microwaving) must be completed by the diners. The Quickfire winner (Spike) is given ten additional minutes to shop, and first choice of each of the four required ingredients, which the other chefs are then not permitted to use. (Spike chose bread, chicken, tomato, and lettuce as his exclusive ingredients.) he just used the win to make everyone else mad, but not really help him. his food sucked anyway, because he just such simple ingredients just to hurt the others. which it kind of didn't...
WINNER: Dale (Lemongrass bison cabbage wrap with brown rice and herb salad)
ELIMINATED: Andrew (Salmon roll with parsnip-pine nut "rice" and pickled ginger wasabi) the kid didn't actually use rice, so he didn't have a whole grain. dumb. i loved andrew

wedding wars!
[edit] Episode 9: Wedding Wars((different than restaurant wars))
Quickfire Challenge: The chefs draw knives to split into two teams of four and are put to a mis en place relay race. One person from each team must supreme oranges (Antonia/Lisa), turn artichokes (Andrew/Spike), fillet monkfish (Richard/Dale), and create mayonnaise from scratch (Stephanie/Nikki). Each chef must receive approval from Tom before the next person on their team can begin their task. i love the relay races. last season's was soo much easier though, this seemed hard.
Winning Team: Andrew, Antonia, Richard, Stephanie they were behind at first, but andrew rocked the artichokes and stuff...
Losing Team: Dale, Lisa, Nikki, Spike
From this point on, the winner(s) of the Quickfire Challenge will no longer receive immunity from elimination. buhbuhbuhbuuuuhhhh
Elimination Challenge: Instead of the usual "Restaurant Wars" challenge, the teams are challenged to "Wedding Wars": the two teams must cater a 250-guest wedding (125 guests to be served per team) for a couple who own a restaurant and wedding facility. Each team will prepare a different menu, one team responsible for meeting the bride's requests, while the other for the groom; this selection is given to the team that won the Quickfire Challenge. The wedding is to take place the next day, and the teams are given 30 minutes to discuss the menu with the bride or groom, 30 minutes to plan, $3000 to shop at a large food warehouse and $2000 at Whole Foods Market, and 14 hours (through the night) of preparation time in the Top Chef kitchen followed by additional preparation time at the banquet. since nikki does italian, what the groom likes, she was in charge of her team, with dale, lisa... others... richard, andrew, steph, (others) were like southern with the bride. they had to stay up all night, and they all reacted differently. andrew stopped talking (shock!). antonia's face was like frozen all grumpy for hours :(O. lol.
both teams made cakes too. lisa's groom cake was hideous, looked like brown poop piles, stephanie's was pretty good, considering she had not very long to make it.
WINNER: Richard & Stephanie, of the Bride's team yeah, richard won, but he gave it to stephanie because she made teh cake or something. they split the $2000 crate and barrel prize, too.
ELIMINATED: Nikki, of the Groom's team their whole team was disfunctional, dale was a jerk, lisa's annoying, spike, bad. the food turned out bad, nikki was the leader, so she was out.

ep. 7. common threads. ((works with kids))
Quickfire Challenge: Each chef is to create an entree in only 15 minutes, using Uncle Ben's Rice as a primary ingredient. The winner receives immunity in the next challenge. why have them use uncle bens? except for cheap product placement and advertisment
The Best: Antonia, Dale, Richard
The Worst: Lisa, Mark, Stephanie
WINNER: Antonia (Rice Salad with Skirt Steak, Arugula, Cherry Tomatoes)
Elimination Challenge: The contestants are told to make a healthy, simple and flavorful meal for a family of four, using only $10. Meal preparation would take place at the Washburn Culinary Institute. There, each chef is then paired with a child from the Common Threads program who will participate in preparing the dish and will be responsible for explaining the dish to fellow children from the program during the tasting. those kids were soo cute! spike's kid sliced himself with a peeler in like the first two minutes. some were real helpful, some of the chefs didn't really seem to want the help from their kid. andrew is funny with children, yet he shouldn't be allowed to be around them.. it may be unsafe.
WINNER: Antonia (Stir Fry Whole Wheat Noodles with Bok Choy, Chicken, Edamame & Cilantro) she cried about missing her daughter like this whole episode, you knew she was gonna win. she told her daughter some dumm joke over the phone. girl didn't really seem to get it though, maybe it was too advanced.
ELIMINATED: Mark (Roasted Vegetables in Red Curry with Cucumber Salad & Garlic Naan) he didn't really listen to what kids like to eat, he just made what mark wanted to make, and that was it. i liked him, but he wasn't the best chef.

Episode 7: Improv
Quickfire Challenge: Each chef is to make a dessert that will please the judges. The winner will receive immunity in the next challenge and have his or her Quickfire recipe placed in the Top Chef cookbook.
The Best: Dale, Lisa, Richard
The Worst: Antonia, Mark, Spike
WINNER: Richard (Banana scallops with banana guacamole and chocolate ice cream) he's like, really good
Elimination Challenge: The chefs attend a performance of the improvisational comedy troupe, Second City. During the performance, the Second City actors obtain combinations of a color, emotion, and ingredient from the audience, creating five descriptions for meals that the chefs are then to prepare. The chefs freely split into teams and select the order for the courses, and, as they discover during cooking, are unable to use electric mixers or food processors as they have been removed from the Top Chef kitchen for this challenge. The chefs also discover as they cook that — while an elaborate table was present in the kitchen — they will be serving their meals at the Top Chef house, and that they only have 20 minutes to move to the house from this announcement. this was a funny challenge, it was good to see some personalities come out, while others were not so cool
First Course: "Yellow Love Vanilla" (Andrew & Spike) i think they made that squash soup, but they had no electronics, so they had to hand squash the squash "with love" lol.
Second Course: "Orange Turned-On Asparagus" (Jennifer & Stephanie) um.. yeah, they made their bread and asparagus into dirty shapes on the plate. eww...
Third Course: "Green Perplexed Tofu" (Dale & Richard) they made it taste like beef! plus, their presentation was funny, richard acted perplexed...
Fourth Course: "Magenta Drunk Polish Sausage" (Antonia & Lisa) used fish instead of sausage. that's like cheeting.
Fifth Course: "Purple Depressed Bacon" (Mark & Nikki)
WINNERS: Dale & Richard (Tofu "steak" marinated in beef fat with green curry) told ya
ELIMINATED: Jennifer (Menage a trois of orange with goat cheese, asparagus, salad and olive tapénade) her avengement for zoi was short lived... oh well. i thought she was really good though, too early for her to leave.

tailgating
Episode 6: Tailgating
Quickfire Challenge: Each contestant is allowed to taste three beers from several different brands prior to selecting one. spike said he couldn't tell the flavors of beers apart, my mother was personally offended. she wanted to hit him. With that beer, each contestant is then challenged to create a matching dish that works with the beer. Prize: Immunity from the next Elimination Challenge.
The Best: Jennifer, Richard, Stephanie
The Worst: Dale, Nikki, Spike (that shows him)
WINNER: Jennifer (Landshark Lager — Shrimp and scallop Beignets with fennel avocado & pepper pureés) she's avenging for zoi. she's got the power and drive now
Elimination Challenge: The contestants are asked to create meals for a tailgating party at Soldier Field prior to a Chicago Bears football game (Week 6 game versus the Minnesota Vikings). The chefs are given preparation time both at the Top Chef kitchen and at the field, prior to serving, on grills. The top and bottom three dishes were selected from the crowd participating in the tailgating party, including former Bears players Richard Dent, Gale Sayers and William "The Refrigerator" Perry, though the final decision of the winner and eliminated chef was left to the judges.
WINNER: Dale (Baby back ribs marinated in tandoori, potato salad with raisins & mango) he was SUPER excited about going to see the bears, too. like "yay!"
ELIMINATED: Ryan (Bread salad with marinated chicken, poached pears and brandy cocoa) he made like a fancy, ritzy, five course meal, not real tailgaiting food. i couldn't' remember when he was outed for like weeks, but it was this one.

um.. ep. 5
i'm getting all of my stuff from wikipedia now, i may add commentary, but yeah, way easier to catch up.
all of the links are like, not from me, so i wouldn't bother with them.
Episode 5: The Elements
Quickfire Challenge: The chefs' palates are tested by a series of 15 comparisons. For every comparison, each chef is blindfolded and tastes two variations of a certain food, one of which is of a lesser quality than the other. The chefs are scored for each high-end ingredient they correctly identify. i love the challenges like these, testing their pallets. great
The Best: Antonia (12/15); Jen (11/15), Ryan (11/15)
The Worst: Stephanie (6/15)
WINNER: Antonia (Prize: Immunity in the next Elimination Challenge.)
Elimination Challenge: The chefs are split into four groups of three by drawing knives, each assigned to one of the classical elements: Earth, Water, Fire, or Air. Each team is to create a first-course meal based on that element for 80 people of Chicago's Celebrity Chef-Meals on Wheels Fundraiser, held at the old Marshall Field & Co. Building. Survey cards were filled out by the patrons of the dinner that evening and used as part of the judging process.
i thought this was kind of cool, the elements. water did like fish, fire did spice, earth... spike wanted to do a squash soup, but antonia, with immunity, didn't want to. bad move... water did fish type things. richard and andrew, perfect together. dale and lisa do NOT get along.
Team Air: Jennifer, Nikki, Ryan
Team Earth: Antonia, Spike, Zoi
Team Fire: Dale, Lisa, Stephanie
Team Water: Andrew, Mark, Richard
WINNER: Lisa of Team Fire (Grilled shrimp with pickled chili salad, deviled aioli, and miso-smoked bacon) sounds good! but i don't like lisa, she's creepy
ELIMINATED: Zoi of Team Earth (Beef carpaccio with mushroom salad and sunchoke aioli)
oh no! zoi and jen were split up! whatever will happen!?! jen was real upset, reall real upset

top 3
woo! three songs this week, which jason wouldn't have been able to handle, and they got to visit their hometowns...
David A went home to Utah - Paula chose his 1st song - And So It Goes, & - With You, & Longer.
i love the trips home. he cried A LOT. and says 'gosh' A LOT. then it was over and he was like, "you guys showed a lot of me crying, gosh, i don't cry that much! [awkward laughter]". whaterver.
billy joel song! people love david, i dont' see it... he's boring, he never does anything with the song, trying to make it more interesting...
that must be why he chose a chris brown song. what the heck! and then he sang BOO, and the whole world freaked out. what's up with that? he said BOO, not booby. lol... laughing at my own joke. he's not very good at the pop stuff, it was just awkward.
um... yeah another ballad. those producers are really smart... [[sarcasm]]. like... why?!!
Syesha went home to Tampa - Randy chose her 1st song - If I Ain't Got You, & Fever, & Hit Me Up
she cried at home too. i don't remember her trip, she must have been boring...
she made a good fake alicia keys. she's a good singer, nothing more.
um... she did this creepy thing with a chair for fever. it was STRANGE. like, dancing, and posing with musicians... the chair had no real importance either, it wasn't sung that well.
this was like a strange song... something about penguin soundtracks, so people thought it was about penguins, but it's not... it's a poppy song, i thought it was okay.
David C went home to Kansas City - Simon chose his 1st song - The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face,& Dare You To Move, & - I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing
david's trip home, i thouht, was the coolest. he's funny. and he cried, and tried to hold it in, like a man, but come on, he let it slip...
um... that song was like crazy. like simon only chose it because it's slower, not rock, so he could challenge david, yet, david was like crazy good, i thought. simon claims a "cook and cowel" win for round one, i agree.
bit pitchy, but good. i like that they sing songs that i know, not, say, First Time Ever I Saw Your Face. dont' know that one... but cook was good, not excellent round two.
it was great... just great. the writer was in the audience, she loved it. it was way too short, wish it was longer. he's great. crazy good strings too, i love when the strings come in on like, all of his songs. plus i love that song anyway
results.
syesha is out, obviously. i knew it would be that way
it's david vs. david for the finale!

top 4
why is jason still there!??!
they had two songs this week, from the rock -n- roll hall of fame.
David Cook - Hungry Like the Wolf & Baba O'Riley
he was very chill, relaxed, cool. first song, i didn't think it was great. some thought it was, i was like "really?" but...
apparently the second one was great. i believe it. i think this was the week that i only saw the last three performances of the night... oops.
Syesha Mercado - Proud Mary & A Change is Gonna Come
danny sang proud mary for his audition... she didn't change it very much, apparently david was scolded for not changing his, but syesha did the same thing as tina turner.. whatever.
her second was great too. paula cried. said something about her dream coming true, syesha bawled. like tears were flowin! apparetnly simon cried, but i don't believe that. i must have missed that particular second...
Jason Castro - I Shot the Sheriff & Mr. Tambourine Man
he's kind of awkward, strange... there's not very many words in sheriff... he was having too much fun, i think... laughing and such.
i lovee... the tambourine song, it's sooo catchy! he forgot the words... just kind of "ladahala" ed it up... not okay for top four. not okay when archie did it top 12 or 11... just not okay!
David Archuleta - Stand By Me & Love Me Tender
another ballad! soo safe and expected. looking back, what the heck were his fans thinking!?!
this one was better, but still.. i'm bored, but he really is good
results
jason is finally out. i used to love him, but now... he knows he's not as good as the other guys, we all know it... he had WAYY too much fun singing his sheriff song again. he was dancing like a crazy, laughing like a maniac...

top 5
they each sang 2 neil diamond songs. everyone loves neil, i don't get it...
Jason Castro - Forever in Blue Jeans & September Morn
he was kinda safe and kinda boring. but that's what he does... both songs were just okay. but omg paula! after the FIRST song, she was like "that was good [blahblahblah], and your SECOND song, that was better but i don't think....[blahblahblah]" she started talking about a song that never happened! they blamed it on a new system, because they didn't give their opinions right after, but halfway through. and i know, they do dress rehearsals and stuff, so she wrote things down from that and said it, or she's just on crack...
David Cook - I'm Alive & All I Really Need is You
first song was okay. i really do not remember this week, so that must mean that they weren't very good. but i have my sources, so i know what happened... second song was wayy better
Brook White - I'm a Believer & Iam, I Said
is that like, from shrek?? yes! yes it was... played guitar. not so great. simon called it a disaster, then she had some snappy comeback. i can remember the second song, kinda. better than the first, that's for sure. played piano. didn't know the words so she wrote them on her hand, but she didn't need it.
David Archuleta - Sweet Caroline & America
my sources say that he sucked, but i highly doubt that. i do believe that he's way overrated, because he's really not as good as people think he is. but he must be good enough to get people to like him, or is it just because he's charmingly naive?
Syesha Mercado - Hello Again & I Thank the Lord for the Nightime.
she doesn't wear shoes, which is kinda gross. think of where that stage has been! she's good, but... i don't know. something makes me not like her...
brooke or jason better be eliminated.
