she stopped again! she was like a few measures in, forgot the words, and asked to start again. it was cute the first time, not so much this time. it was BAD. plus, she didn't really feel the emotions of it.
David Archuleta - Think of Me
um... he sings another boring ballad. what else is new?

Carly Smithson - Jesus Christ Superstar
i LOVE THIS SONG! just because i find it kind of funny... she has amazing vocals, big voice...

David Cook - Music of the Night
from phantom of the opera. AH-MAZING. i thought. some people didn't like it, but i thought it was great. it wasn't just another rock song, it was ballady, pianos, he has a huge, wonderful voice, i loved it. plus, i love that song in the actual movie ((i know, play type thing)), so it was fantastic.

this week's mentor was mariah carey. i was REALLY looking forward to what jason and david cook would do, becuase she's a bit far out for them... i was hoping jason would do "touch my body" lol. with dance moves.
can i first say that i am not a mariah carey fan, and i have heard of... maybe two of these songs?

don't know this song. plus i don't remember. i'm going to say he was good, cuz he always is, but i didn't like him, because i never do. he's kind of a boring performer

she's always barefoot! she kinda rushed through it.

she was FANTASTIC!! me and sister ran around the house singing this song for... like 5 days. it was great.

holy crap. this kid... he was the best of the night for sure. he took this pop song and made it rockin. he was crazy crazy good. and he cried after. his brother with brain cancer or something was in the audience, i think it was just like, overload. but omg he's amazing.

apparently people went crazy for him. i'm betting he was just his usual. nothing spectacular.

but how do they do that if shear genius is on wednesdays? starting in late june? i don't think it'll be done by then... maybe unless runway moves days! that would be.... .... crazy!

5/14 and the winner is...

anya, fatima, and whitney have to do a photo shoot and commercial for covergirl. in english this time. all three girls have some issues with the lines, but it's not always about that.
whitney's commercial was just average, some still thought she was fake, but her picture was ah-mazing. apparently. i thought it was okay, but probably not anything to cream myself about.
fatima's commercial was robotic, her picture just okay.
anya's commercial was horrible, but she looked good in it. paulina said that anya looked stupid in her photo. like, not smart. that's really mean, even though anya isn't very bright.
anya is picked, whitney and fatima are in the bottom two
fatima goes home. thank the lord, i hated her, i loved whitney.
nigel shoots the girls in a seventeen mag. thing for the winner. i don't get that magazine anymore... oh no!
then they do a versace runway. there were all these guys in striped speedos that would just randomly walk down the runway. it was crazy.
whitney was like a power-house, but she forgot to pose at the end of the runway, so photographers can't photogrograph her.
anya was stunning, but she didn't walk strongly enough. she looked kind of like she was in a dream to me. like she was just .f. .l. .o. .a. .t. .i. .n. .g....
there is a BIG deliberation. it's a tough one for sure. i like both of them, but i wanted whitney to win more.
and the winner is...
whitney!!! yay!
she's the first plus-size model to ever make it that far, let alone win. then paulina was like, "i see nothing 'plus-size' about you." and they changed it to "full figured model". i'm good with that.
congratulations to whitney, and congratulations to me for finally finishing.

5/7 this is not a drag competition!

this week the girls had to learn to be photographers. they met with paulina and they took each other's pictures. then they each had five minutes to take pictures of paulina and direct her. anya was CRAZY, running all over, having her throw leaves. crazy.
fatima finally wins something, her only win, EVER, on a challenge. she gets 50 extra frames.
the photo shoot is the girls trying to get away from paparatzi or something like that. they have their man with them too. and nigel is the photographer.
dominique looked too drag in her picture.. something about how she can't wear lots of make-up because it makes her look like a man/woman.
fatima was just awful. she claims she doesn't know how to be "with a man" cuz she never had a boyfriend, but please. it was bad.
anya was bad too. until she tripped on the stairs and then they got the perfect shot.
whitney did okay. they said her man was like overpowering her. too bad.
fatima and dominique are in the bottom two.
i was okay with either of them going, they both suck.
dominique is out. good! she always looked like crap at the judgings, and she always looked like a man in her pictures.

the saddest thursday in history

y'all know about my 5awesomegays, right?

GREG QUIT!
this weekend, he quit. and everyone's like "we respect his decision"
but i don't get it! why did he leave. he's just like "it's time" or crap like that.
what the heck!
and, he took all of his thursday videos down, so i can't go back to watch them
wolf gang! i can't watch that. that was genius!
and today, the other four made a collab video all about him.
tyler has some mad editing skillz. and they had him singing in the background, a song he sang in one of his vids in like march. soooo sad.
he has a great voice.

they said they're gonna replace him...
i'm still depressed about this, and it's been like four or five days.

"M" doesn't like it when i refer to the guys as "the gays" i can't say "the guys" because there are lots of guys out there. she doesn't think they'd like it. um... that's why their chanel is called "5awesomegays", because they don't like to be called gay.
duh. so some people shorten it to 5ag. which i guess i could do. 'cause otherwise it's FAG. which spells fag. which isn't nice.

tokyo police club (!) they're kind of techno-punky-poppy. they use some big words too, i used a dictionary!

4/30 WARRIORS!!!

the girls had to go watch gladiators, then become them!!!
they learned moves, then had to do them for a five-frame shoot. with some man gladiator battling them.
whitney won and got.... 1000 euros i think... which is a lot. she can either keep it all for herself or share. she shares with anya. would you rather...
buy twice as much but be lonely, or take a friend, make memories, and only buy half as many roman things?

the girls arrive, and anya falls on her face for her first steps in rome. how sweet... i laughed forever. replay button...

katarzyna is a wiz with language and does pretty good

dominique messes up the words so bad, not even a really old fluent greek could understand anything.

oh, and anya's speaking was terrible also. she laughed cutely though, so she was saved.

i think i'm messed up on my dates. this was on wikipedia though. gotta trust my sources. and i thought i started this one like a month ago, but it's not here.
lauren cuts her thumb on a knife and has big ole' stitches.
they have to work a 'green' carpet and be natural.
whitney is fakefakefake. anya wins, and gets another nude shoot for 7up. this time she's covered in limes and lemons. you may have seen it in People Mag about... lots of weeks ago? she also got $10,000. wows.
fatima is struggling with something about her travel documents. if she gets farther, and they go abroad, she's gonna need those. so she goes to talk to the government, while the others have a photo shoot. nice one!
it's at an airport. they all are in it, but they pick the best for each girl. fatima never showed up...
[i'm making this one super short, as are all the next ones]..
she gets back later, and is still saved after missing a shoot! i would have been like "NO". BUT NOOOOOOO....
stacy ann is out, which doesn't really upset me, she was annoying and not very special.
then, (SHOCKER!) the girls are told that, since they have their luggage there already, they'll be going abroad. good timing, fatima! and they go to rome! yay!
