so for this week's challenge, the designers had to make an avant garde look. in a group of two. plus, later, they had to make a ready to wear look, simplifying the first one. christian was ready to scissors tim when he told them. lol. oh yeah, and it was based off their models' hair styles, which were crazy.


sweet p steals Lea, christian looks hurt, and p says it was cuz lea's hair was fierce. i think everyone on this show says fierce now, thanks to good ole christian. gotta love him. then he takes lisa back, saying she's sooo high fashion. if she was soo high fashion, why didn't you stay with her?!

so i'm just gonna go through the teams, all the pics for that team, and the design, cuz it seems easier. we can only hope.

this was a match made in design heaven. chris with his costume work (i know, enough already), and christian working with mcqueen (i know, enough already) was apparently perfect. i guess mcqueen does avant garde-y stuff, but i don't know. and yes, i should probably be outlawed, but sorry. tell me what he does if you know. so here's some christian momentss...

i almost died when i saw picture number 2. it's ferosh. which brings me to...

they were working, on their giant design for circles and a shoulder thing, and christian says, ferosh. and then... "if i was a diva, my name would be ferosh." haaaa. i died again i think. he is a diva already. but his name is christian... then he was teaching the models how to model, strutting around the workroom saying things like.. "work it.. to the side, and bring it back... turn... bring it back..." woooooot.

christian was made the team leader, but he was afraid b/c he knew that if it sucked, he would be out. but it didn't suck. it rocked. judges said the skirt on the ready to wear was kinda poopy, but oh well. they had two days to make THAT! it's gorgeous.

neither of these ladies can finish on time, so it seems like the perfect pair. jillian was afraid of team leader issues, with V. can you blame her?! no. i think V was leader, but i don't actually know. i think jillian wanted to die. she didn't start the second look until the morning of the runway show. wowzas! they did make a really complicated jacket, and pants/shirt underneath, but still. the pants, in my opinion, were UGLY. but i guess they're in, or something. they were baggy around her front and just poofy. i dind't get it at all.

the fact that they made "three looks" was thrilling for victorya, cuz on the runway she says, "so we should win!" kinda jokingly, but still. christian rolls his eyes, cuz she is SO annoying. and she has an angry asian face. just saying.

lol idk... rami and sweet p

rami was the leader and he totally took over. i hate him cuz he's soo micro managing. the avant garde look wasn't very out there. i liked the little dress that sweet p made. i think it was very her, but the other one was very rami, cuz he did the whole darn thing.
and there's pants with the first dress. what's up with that? is it supposed to make it high fashion? and he did more drapping, so i was mad.

ricky said that the looks were bringing out the girl in him and the bi*** in kit. umm.... he's already more than half girl outwardly, and kit... she looks like she could be a bi*** but she isn't. they were doing some strange "nesting" thing which apparently is very in right now. idk...

the layers were like tons of aprons for this crazy garden lady. idk what the other thing is. ricky made that. he was like "so i said, give it to me, cuz i make dresses all the time" um, ricky? i think everyone there makes dresses all the time and that it is "nothing for them" jesus... they did make a hoop skirt, which is amazing, but...

:D i was soo happy. they really deserved it, it was amazing. they got a photo shoot with elle, and apparently that meant that chris/tian were in it too. whatever. we already know that christian has modeling skills, which he showed off. what was the outfit he wore on the runway?!!? it was a hot mess. uuuugghh. he took pictures in it too! chris had on his leopard print, ugly.

kit. sad, yes. deserved, maybe. i didn't think it was as bad as rami/sweet p. they didn't work together. ricky and kit obviously worked well together, something about running together at the gym or something. hopefully not in manpris ricky! i was sad, seeing as team star now consists of christian. oh well, he's gonna win.
