they end up in this strange neighborhood. they have to cook for the 'hood's annual block party. for the food, they have to go to the peoples' houses and ask for it. haha!
omg. i have seriously been to that neighborhood! it looks just like my mom's friend's 'hood. and i totally went to the block party!! i was just like :0!! because i swear i've been there. i was looking for the kids i know, but i didn't see them. i won some Swiss Rolls at that block party.
so while i was waiting for the chefs to get food from the house that i have SLEPT AT, they ran like crazy. they never went there.
they needed mucho food, for like... 40+70... like 110 people! plus they needed kid-fun-dly food. ( i mixed friendly with fun!) i think i'm losing it here...
then they go back, prepare food at the place, bring it back to street, and prepare for crazy. ness.
blue team menu:: Paella, Slaw, BBQ pulled pork, bean salad, Inside-out cookie, sexy drink, fruit cobbler, mac n cheese.
how do you have a "sexy drink?" i didn't get that part.
red team menu:: sliders, corn dogs, pork skewers, sangria waldorf salad, pasta salad, taco salad & s'mores
they stuck marshmallows on a stick and used a flame torch. funny. but the corn dogs were soggy. ick.
all the people come, get food, enjoy, red team plays basketball with the youn'uns. i didn't see anyone i know...
blue team wins. yay!
